ActiveX communication driver for Idec PLCs

With this powerful tool, you can design your own Human Machine Interface (HMI) or Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) application on your PC.

All you need to do is to implement the communication ActiveX control in your common programming tool, like Visual Basic , Visual C++ … from Microsoft

Setting up a communication with an Idec PLC in your program will be done in no time, so you only have to focus your programming to the screendesign and/or data management.

The ActiveX control support 1:1 and 1:N communication link system.

When you drag multiple communication controls on your programming form, it will be possible to communicate with more PLC networks simultaneously.

With the latest version you can open a max. of 254 COM ports. When using a serial to ethernet redirector (to configure virtual COM ports) you can access all data over ethernet and even over internet.

The communication control is written for the Idec new generation PLCs like

ONC, MicroSmart, MicroSmart Pentra, Micro³, Micro³C.

The next communications are possible

- read / write 1 bit to IR, Output, Input, Shift Register, Link Relay

- read / write preset & current value of Timer & Counter

- read / write Data Register & Link Register value

- read / write Calendar / Clock
